Working from scratch, Tanya Rodrigues hand fashions all-natural, custom cakes from concept to completion. Astonishingly, Tanya is totally self-taught. It is her relentless self-discipline and perfectionism that has powered her rise in this competitive and talent driven field. Using her imagination as her textbook, it's next to impossible to find more ingenious or sophisticated cakes and cookies.
Twenty years experience ensures Tanya's practices are tried and true. This enables such epic culinary designs as when Tanya converts a Christian Dior wedding purse into dazzling cake couture. In addition, her meticulous technique allows for miraculous innovation: a remarkably realistic, three-dimensional rustic wine crate with vintage bottles and packing material is flawlessly sculpted and totally edible!
Cakes By Tanya is a relatively new local venture based in Markham, Ontario. Tanya's skill lies in tailoring astounding artistry into the fabric of events. As a small, independent designer, Tanya can ensure consistent quality in whole food sourcing, artistic invention and technical detail. Tanya personally designs, bakes, decorates and delivers every custom cake.
